VisitStarbase is an unofficial app for people visiting Starbase, Texas and South Padre Island for Starship launches and related activities. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or official software of SpaceX, the City of Starbase, Starbase Brewing, NASA, the FAA, or any government agency.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using VisitStarbase, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

Obey all laws, posted signs, law enforcement instructions, and road or beach closures
Never trespass on restricted, private, or closed property
Not rely solely on the app for safety-critical decisions
Not misuse AI features or attempt to probe, overload, or extract system information
Use the app only for lawful personal purposes

Data Accuracy and Limitations

Launch times, road and beach status, weather, business information, and other data come from third-party sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Flight Path AR, structure labels, and similar features are educational approximations only and are not live telemetry or official guidance.

You are solely responsible for your travel decisions, safety, and compliance with local rules.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Pro features and Launch Passes are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed with RevenueCat. All billing, renewals, and refunds are governed by Apple’s or Google’s applicable policies. Launch Pass access is time-limited as described in the app.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP, TRAVEL DECISIONS MADE USING THE APP, OR ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app at any time if you violate these Terms or for other operational reasons.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
